· Take a Lead technical and representative role in Mechanical Discipline Activities for AJES.
· Provide engineering input for project proposals presented by Estimating Team for purpose of technical, value engineering and costing analysis.
· Carry out engineering tasks of design and design review as directed by the Engineering Manager.
· Manage and Coordinate with Consultants engaged to carry out specific engineering tasks.
· Prepare accurate and professional reports as may be requested by the Manager Engineering.
· Work closely with the Procurement group as may be required during equipment tendering and provide technical input during the review process.
· Work as part of the startup team at the commencement of projects and carry out specific discipline requirements during the period of mobilization of the permanent project team members.
· Carry out temporary works design as may be required during project execution and Provide support to sites during project execution as may be required from time to time.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of project management, project construction and recognized practices and principals.
- Experience in Oil & Gas Industry construction projects internationally.
- Computer literate and fluency in oral and written English
- Skillful at using computers related programs: Microsoft and design related programs is a plus.
- Able to properly prepare basic reports and develop BOQs, field sketches, as built drawings and project design completion reports.
- Excellent communication skills; able to perform within a multicultural and multi-task environment.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering degree.
Experience:
10 to 15 years of related experience in Construction and Oil & Gas industry (working with EPC is preferable).
