· Manages the daily operation and administration of site in his capacity.
· Implement efficiently the construction schedules, productivity and manage site independently.
· Ensure the implementation of the company’s standards operating procedures for executing the tasks in hand and the compliance with safety, quality and security of manpower and equipments.
· Coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors for various technical aspects of the job.
· Develop and maintain uniform standards, systems and procedures, relative to daily operation on site.
· Able to prepare and implement work procedures and Methods statements.
· Prepare progress reports; cost analysis, manpower requirements and work schedule reports as directed by the project manager;
· Select adequate manpower, control and approve timekeeping and site payroll
· Control site operations through subordinates to ensure cost effectiveness, quality of work, and the adequate functioning of all plants and machinery in his custody.
· Where necessary draw up daily programs showing hourly resource allocation for manpower, plant and equipment.
· Recommend priorities for allocation in the event of conflicting demands and co-ordinates the transfer of labor as necessary.
· Assist the Project Management for coordination and execution of the multi-discipline team, as well as liaise on-site with the engineering and procurement subcontractor and also Client.
Knowledge Base:
A. Academic Education
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in the field of specialization and/or Member of Professional Organisation.
B. Professional Education
In-depth knowledge of project management, project construction and recognized practices and principals.
Experience in Oil & Gas Industry construction projects in the Arab world and internationally.
C. Special Knowledge
· Project management level skills, development coherent team to achieve strong presence and recognition within the project members, consultants, subcontractors and client.
· Expand project base with efficiency and professional performance.
Computer literate and fluency in oral and written English (Arabic is an advantage)
