·            Prepare proposal drawings, Site Query sketches for civil structural, architectural and dewatering works etc. Draft the new approved sketches in the issued for construction and as built drawings for the client’s final approval. Calculate and find the difference of quantities between the drawings and the actual work executed on site

·            Properly records and manage the additional changes of new drawings, design changes, site queries answers from the client and consultants.

·            Maintain up to date drawings and design changes notices. Site queries and answers, submitted as built drawings in an electronic format as well as hard format.

·            Perform his duty independently with as little supervision possible, maintain high standard of accuracy and organization in line with company policy and procedures and must be familiar with ISO standards.

·            Get involved and familiar with the HSE and QA/QC control measures, policies and procedures to implement them and apply in his daily work performance.

·            Advise the project management of any changes necessary that will affect in any way the work in progress or the work performed on site, to facilitate workflow and assist in to prevent unforeseen work stoppage.

·            Make sure that the final approved drawings are always handy to be presented as required by the project management and that it reflects any approved changes or modification very clearly.

A. Academic Education

·            Diploma or Trade Center Certificate as a Draftsman of Civil works Architectural Designs
and construction of buildings ( commercial, residential, warehouses and industrial etc).

·            Must also have studied AutoCAD computer programs AutoCAD levels I & II and any other related computer drawings programs

B. Professional Education

·            In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas projects construction drawings and designs systems and familiar and able to translate sketches into detailed drawings

C. Special Knowledge

·            Excellent computer related skills and time management to development coherent team spirit to achieve strong presence and recognition within the construction team.

·            Expand project base with efficiency and professional performance in the work produced.

·            Well versed with computer programs related to his work and continuous learner of related programs to enhance and increase his ability and knowledge to prepare thorough and detailed drawings and designs

Previous Experience:

·            Experience of at least 5 to 8 years practicing and preparing detailed drawing for the construction of oil and gas projects with reputable construction companies most suitable within the Oil and Gas Industry in the Gulf Countries.

·            Hard worker meticulous and details oriented, able to prepare the required drawings within the set time frame with as much accuracy as possible

·            Excellent computer skills and always updating himself with AutoCAD draftsman computer program, able to use, prepare, modify and create such structural designs work independently and as part of a team with as little supervision possible.

·            Excellent command of English language
