·            Assist in preparing the planning schedules for the entire work (Manpower, Machinery, Materials & Equipment)

·            Prepare quality plans for civil and structural works of the project

·            Ensure the surveying works is executed as plan and fixing salient coordinates as per requirements.

·            Ensure earth works and excavations as in compliance with required depth to comply with drawing.

·            Prepare and study all bar bending and steel fixing schedules for all concrete structures;

·            Prepare method statement for execution of work and define procedures.

·            Oversee the preparation of Shop Drawings for all works

·            Ensure formwork for rigidity for strength to withstand deflection and ensure the best use of material.

·            Monitor the Progress of Work as per the planning schedules 

·            Attend site management review meetings (as instructed) to discuss various construction related issues and opportunities for system and execution improvements.

·            Coordinate with QA/QC and Site Crews to verify and ensure that Construction activities
and facilities are being completed in accordance with current specifications and standards

·            Collect information and data about daily work activities to the Construction Manager to verify that project is going on schedule and within the set time and budget limits

·            Coordinate between the HSE, QA/QC, Subcontract, Engineers and the Sites Construction Engineers to make sure that the construction organization is implemented and that the contractor’s and subcontractors’ works and performance are efficiently inspected, supervised and monitored, taking into consideration cost, progress manpower and material aspects;

·            In conjunction with the Site Construction Engineers, identify current and potential problems and propose corrective and/or preventive actions in the construction part of the project

·            In conjunction with the Construction Manager, the Contract and Subcontract Engineers, QA/QC and HSE Engineers and Site Construction Engineers, verify that procedures, standards and specifications are being prepared to obtain efficient execution of all construction and pipe laying activities

·            In conjunction with the Site Construction Engineers, assist the Construction Manager to ensure that labor, material and equipment are mobilized in a most economical and effective way in order to achieve scheduled objectives

·            In conjunction with QA/QC and Engineering, verify that construction requirements are considered during and incorporated within the design.

·            In conjunction with QA/QC & HSES Engineers, verify that all Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment regulations and requirements are strictly adhered to;

·            Coordinate between different construction activities to verify that project is going on schedule and within budget limits

·            Liaise and control all construction matters and works of sub-contractors, to ensure client’s satisfaction and quality of work produced.

·            In-depth knowledge of construction management and recognized practices and principals.

·            Project management and construction skills; develop coherent team to achieve strong presence and recognition within the project members, consultants, subcontractors and client.

·            Experience of at least 8 years in construction and execution of civil work preferably of Petrochemical Projects (on site and in office) covering a broad range of activities, with reputable construction companies in the Gulf Countries.

·            Should be familiar with International Standards for Construction Management and should have worked within such environments. Able to implement and control the work construction within set time frame and within a multicultural environment.

·            Able to manage, implement and control the project and work construction within set time frame and within a multicultural environment.
